Graduates of the RMIT Associate Degree in Applied Sciences biomedical science stream with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 out of 4.0 may be able to receive credit of up to 1.5 years (equivalent to 144 credit points).
Graduates of following programs with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0 may be able to receive credit of up to one year (equivalent to 96 credit points):
You are guaranteed entry to the Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) from a range of RMIT programs. Successful completion and the grades you achieve determine the amount of credit you will receive.
If you achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the Associate Degree in Applied Science Biomedical Sciences major, you will receive 3 semesters of advanced standing (equivalent to 144 credit points).
If you achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in either of the following programs, you will receive 2 semesters of advanced standing (equivalent to 96 credit points):
- Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Biotechnology)
- Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Pathology Testing)
