This program blends practical experience with electronics and communications applications built on a strong theoretical foundation.
You'll learn how to test, assemble, install and maintain electronics and communications equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects, and provide technical advice.
You'll gain skills in computer-aided drafting and electronic design, computer interfacing, microprocessor programming, design, testing and commissioning of analogue and digital electronics systems, computer programming, and perform simulations using various engineering software packages.
The qualification is structured to deliver competencies, knowledge and skills required by the nationally-accredited Electrotechnology Training Package.

Students will complete 4 courses over 9 weeks. Students will also have the opportunity to load up to 25 hours per week in the Semester 2, 3 and 4 to complete by 2019. Semester 1 classes will be for approximately 20-22 hours per week.
