You must have:
- Experience in formal/informal learning support roles as an education support worker, childcare worker, home/volunteer tutor or similar role; or
- Successful completion of a Certificate III or higher level qualification.
You must submit a personal statement outlining details of your experience (paid or unpaid) in supervised learning support roles such as an education support worker, child care worker, home/volunteer tutor or similar role.
Interview (some applicants). You may be contacted by phone or email in order to obtain a better understanding of your background and your potential to succeed in the program.
You will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check prior to undertaking practical placements.

Develop skills and knowledge to work closely and collaboratively with teachers as well as students with special needs. Qualify in the pathway to becoming a teacher.
