You must be employed and registered as an apprentice dental technician under a Training Agreement in a dental laboratory.
In accordance with industry criteria, it is recommended that students be able to demonstrate:
- literacy skills equivalent to successful completion of Year 12 English
- numeracy skills equivalent to successful completion of Year 11 Mathematics
- oral communication skills in the English language sufficient to ensure that the individual can accurately provide, interpret and respond to simple and routine instructions
- the ability to perform basic functions on a computer including accessing applications and inputting, retrieving and printing data
