Certificate III in Science
My advice to students considering this program is that it’s an excellent starting point that enables you to determine the area of science you’d really like to pursue.
I decided on the Certificate III in Science because I felt it would give me a great start to developing my knowledge of science at a broad level. Nursing is my ultimate goal, so I planned my study path towards that, beginning with a certificate and ending with a bachelor.
RMIT was my University of choice after hearing from people I knew who had either studied here or had friends who did. I also compared it to other universities offering similar courses, and after much consideration, I felt RMIT would be the best fit for me.
This program teaches a wide range of scientific topics, which is perfect for anyone trying to figure out where their passion lays.
My favourite subject was Concepts in Chemistry because it genuinely challenged me. All the elements being taught were really fascinating, like the chemical make-up of things around us, and this kept me engaged and motivated to do well.
The highlight of my studies was getting the marks I strived for. It felt good to reap the benefits of my hard work.
My advice to students considering this program is that it’s an excellent starting point that enables you to determine the area of science you’d really like to pursue.
My plan is to continue along my study path towards nursing - first the Diploma of Nursing followed by the Bachelor of Nursing. This will set me up for my nursing career.
I love what I do because I know that one day I’ll be able to truly help people and give back to the community.
