Participants must hold an Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetists.
Denture teeth and models will be provided for participants to construct FL dentures that will be utilised in the course, and all implant components.
Materials to bring
Participants need to bring safety glasses, laboratory coat, process tools and a willingness to participate, apply your understanding and complete the assessment activities.
The course is designed for:
- Qualified Dental prosthetists with existing registration who are looking at extending their scope of practice and treat patients in need of implant overdentures,
- Dental prosthetists that obtained their qualifications prior to 2006 and have not had formal training to extend their scope of practice to be able to treat patients in need of implant overdentures,
- Dentists seeking 24 CPD hours.
Once you have registered and paid for your course through the RMIT Short Courses website, there will be an additional enrolment step. This is because you will be studying a nationally endorsed unit of competency. You will be contacted shortly by our Academic Services team regarding the next step for online enrolment into an accredited unit.
Unique Student Identifier
All learners undertaking nationally recognised training are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) issued by the Australian Government.
If you do not have a USI you will need to go www.usi.gov.au and create one.
