No prior knowledge or experience is necessary for this introductory course.

Materials supplied

Materials required for the course will be provided. All relevant course notes are supplied with comprehensive instructions and exercises.

Materials to bring

A list of materials you will be required to purchase will be supplied prior to the course commencing.


In this course you will engage with and create handmade books utilising techniques for different visual communication. You will learn to use technologies in ways that compliment and inform making artworks from handmand books.

Upon finishing the course you will receive a RMIT Certificate of Completion. You can use this as a record to demonstrate the outcomes covered in the course.
