Prerequisites

No prior knowledge is required for this introductory course. It is ideal if you have your own MailChimp account but you can use the RMIT account during the course if you have not set up your own account yet.

Materials supplied

Materials required for the course will be provided. All relevant course notes are supplied with comprehensive instructions and exercises.

Materials to bring

You are required to have access to a personal computer or laptop. It is recommended to have a USB stick.

If you want to follow demonstrations using your own account, you should set this up prior to the course. Otherwise, you may use the RMIT shared account for the hands-on sections.

Outcome

MailChimp is user-friendly, but there's a lot of depth, and a lot students can do with it. Students will learn the essential skills needed for effective e-marketing, and also how to work with some of the most powerful features of the MailChimp application. By the end of the course they will gain an insider's understanding of how HTML email work effectively.
