Learn to design and create a tote bag from design and pattern making, leather skiving, to folding and attaching standard fittings. Further your bag making skills from the Bag Making 1: Clutch Bag course. Pre-requisites apply.

Prerequisites

Participants MUST have completed the Bag Making 1: Clutch Bag before enrolling in this short course.

Materials supplied

All leather and course materials are supplied. Tools will be available for use within the department.

Pen, paper and/or laptop for note taking.

This course is ideal for people who are interested in the craft of designing and making bags by hand. Pre-requisites apply.

Outcome

Students will learn the art of bag making, and finish a tote bag.

Upon finishing the course you will receive a RMIT Certificate of Completion. You can use this as a record to demonstrate the outcomes covered in the course.
