Returning to RMIT was an obvious choice for Eamonn
Eamonn Wang loved his experience at RMIT, first completing a Bachelor of Business (International Business) and was compelled to return once again to study Auditing 1, Company Law as single unit courses.
I found a yearning desire to come back to an amazing uni-campus culture
“The attraction for me to undertake a few more courses was to fulfill the prerequisites of the Chartered Accountants ANZ program. I had the choice to choose between the Chartered Accountants Foundation Program or take two more courses at RMIT. I chose to continue my studies at RMIT University because I had missed the freedom of having a uni-student lifestyle.
"I found a yearning desire to come back to an amazing uni-campus culture where I'm exposed to astounding students, supportive resources and overall, a great uni-vibe."
The highlight of my studies was being able develop my soft skills and having the opportunity to connect with others.
"Having put into teams for group assignments or even meeting unique individuals through RMIT events, I've learned to escape from my comfort zone and really learned to become closer with others. Being able to diversify my relations and recognise individuals for their culture, humour and authenticity has built my network and most importantly, shaped me to become more inclusive and endearing."
Take advantage of the university lifestyle
“Embrace the learning and build new friendships within your courses! I find that being able to connect with new individuals in unforeseen territories encourages you to step out of your bubble and helps develop your individual qualities.”
“Last year, I participated and volunteered to become a SLAMS mentor. The opportunity to help students who are currently struggling in certain courses was such a rewarding experience to relay my knowledge and information back to the community. The environment at SLAMS is always encouraging and everyone there is genuinely so supportive. If I were to go back to RMIT, I would most likely come back to SLAMs to mentor again!”
