DESCRIPTION

Practitioners, advocates, governments, youth leaders, and industry innovators from across Australia explore and unpack what a climate emergency transition could look like at local, national, and global levels.

The National Climate Emergency Summit, held primarily at Melbourne Town Hall will present a series of workshops, panel discussions, and debates that tackle critical issues spanning the political, economic, technical, and social change dimensions of initiating and carrying out a full-scale response to the climate emergency.

Only metres from the Melbourne Town Hall, The Capitol will host a Screening Site and Live Program of Satellite Sessions of the Summit.

Gather in this historic theatre each morning to watch the live stream of the Summit’s Main Stage action.

In the afternoons, the space will be used as a Satellite Summit Breakout Venue, and you’ll get the chance to catch some of the feature Summit Sessions along with other Summit Delegates and attendees.
