Overview

The course will provide you with a foundation in cyber security. You’ll learn how to formulate a strategy so that organisations are able to respond to incidents in an orderly and efficient manner and limit the damage of attacks and recover information from the damages caused.​


Ideal for mid-senior manager looking to gain the skills to implement a cyber strategy into the organisation​, this course is also suited for consultants, IT professionals and entrepreneurs, who have little exposure to cyber security and want to instill cyber practices into their teams or businesses.

Skills and learning outcomes

We’ll cover a variety of topics across the cyber security ecosystem, starting with the fundamentals of cyber security risk. You’ll learn how to build a risk mitigation strategy, communicate that strategy to stakeholders, and measure the commercial impacts of cyber crime. We’ll also touch on regulatory frameworks, security engineering, identity management, cloud security and basic security training.
