RMIT Vietnam is leading the way in creating an innovative teaching and learning culture in South-East Asia.

Your opening to an international career

RMIT is an international university, known for providing its students with a global passport. It is one of the most valuable aspects of an RMIT education. Put simply, it means RMIT’s learning and teaching are informed by international best practice, producing graduates who are ready to take their place on the world stage. An RMIT qualification is well regarded overseas, opening up possibilities for work and professional acceptance across the globe.

That, in part, is because RMIT is a global university. Its original campuses are based in Melbourne, but the institution spreads well beyond the city in which it was founded. Through academic linkages with more than 100 institutions world-wide-and through two campuses in Vietnam, RMIT connects students into an international network of research and learning.

Scholars have always travelled because ideas know no boundaries. The exchange beyond borders of ideas, practices, ways of seeing and modes of working is a vital part of the development of individuals and communities. RMIT students need not wait until after graduation to engage with the world academically, culturally and professionally as the opportunity for international travel and learning is a part of many programs.

At any level, most RMIT students have the opportunity to build an international component into their program.

As an RMIT student you may choose to:

  • study overseas for up to 12 months;
  • take part in our overseas work co-operative year in industry;
  • complete an overseas project;
  • undertake an international study tour;
  • work with a community on a local project in a foreign country;
  • exhibit your work at international exhibitions;
  • enter international awards and prizes.
