Course Description
This course will introduce you to the processes and procedures of cost planning as a cost control tool in the pre construction process. You will examine the impact of design on the capital and life cycle cost of buildings, and develop your understanding of the market process in the construction industry. This course will foster your appreciation of bidding strategies and build your understanding of the relationship and differences between the cost planning and tendering processes.

In this course you will develop the following program learning outcomes:
