Course Description
This research course is designed to equip you with essential research skills that are paramount in the modern business environment. The objective of the course is to broaden your technical and managerial outlook by providing you with practical applications of MBA concepts and knowledge to real-world situations.
This course covers methodologies and tools to identify, research and analyse multi-disciplinary business problems in the managerial context. You will study key research paradigms and qualitative and quantitative methods, to unpack business problems. You will learn how to research and synthesise information from various sources and various analyses. You will also explore processes of analytics to allow you to apply methodologies in solving business problems and developing innovative solutions.
This course involves working on a research project. The selection of an appropriate research topic, research methodology and research methods, and the conduct of the research, will involve discussion and agreement between you and the academic staff.

Overview of Learning Activities
In this course, you will undertake a research project, which involves selecting an appropriate research topic, methodology, and research methods. These aspects will be discussed and agreed upon between you and the academic staff to ensure that the research project aligns with your learning goals and academic standards.
Throughout the research project, you will receive feedback in the form of guidance and constructive academic critique of the research processes and output. This feedback will be provided during the research phase to ensure that you are on the right track and that any issues are addressed promptly.
You will also receive formal feedback on the research project submission. This feedback will enable you to evaluate your work, identify areas for improvement, and consolidate your learning. Overall, this course aims to develop your research skills and provide you with valuable feedback to enhance your academic performance.
