Course Description

This unit supports the development of a gender lens, including attainment of the foundational theoretical frameworks required to apply a gender lens in practice.
It includes the development of the skills required to explore the impacts of gender inequity in work and society. It also helps build self-awareness of personal values and perceptions of gender equity and the ability to reflect on how these align with the values underpinning gender equity and equality.
This unit applies to practitioners and professionals with varying degrees of responsibility, working in roles that require an understanding of gender equity. This unit enhances the ability to reflect on own performance within known work environments and work practices.
