Course Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop gender equity strategies that contribute to sustainable gender equity in a work context.
This unit supports the attainment of skills and knowledge required to develop strategies aimed at challenging or addressing identified gender unequal norms, practices and structures within a work context.
It includes scoping for the gender equity strategy via stakeholder consultation and the collection of supporting data, which informs the design of a sustainable gender equity strategy appropriate to the work context.
This unit applies to practitioners and professionals with varying degrees of responsibility working in roles that have a responsibility for contributing to gender equity. This unit enhances the ability to develop gender equity strategies that contribute to sustainable gender equity within known work environments and work practices.
