Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to assess garment repair and alteration needs and use sewing and other techniques to complete repairs and alterations such as delicate fabric repair, invisible mending, tailored garment adjustments for individual fit, and alterations involving addition of new pieces and finishes.

On successful completion of this course you will acquire the skills and knowledge required to attempt advanced repair and alterations to finished garments based on client needs.
