Course Description
This unit of competency covers researching and recommending hard materials and finishes for various interior decoration and design solutions and applies to a design and decoration retail, consulting or studio environment.

Assessment for this course will be project based.

AT-02 - Interior Materials and Finishes Specification & Digital Material & Finishes Board
All work for Assessable Tasks is required to be submitted on the due date and time as outlined in the
Assessment Briefs. Exception to this is where an approved DLU plan, an application for Special
Consideration or an approved Extension of Time is in place, submitted before the task's due date
with appropriate documentation.

If your work is incomplete, you are strongly encouraged to submit your work on the due date, in order
to meet the submission requirements. Should it be below competency you may be asked to resubmit

Pass.
Late Submission
Submissions will only be accepted up to 3 working days after the due date and time, with appropriate
documentation ie a medical certificate. Apart from the exceptions listed above, submissions received
in this period can only receive a Pass (50%), if deemed competent.
