Course Description
In this course you will gain, skills and knowledge required to investigate photo imaging trends and emerging technologies and assess their creative and commercial applications. Using the knowledge of emerging trends, you will evaluate, plan and implement changes to your workflow, products and technology.

Select TWO photographers in the genre or style that most interests you and aligns with your work/creative direction. You will develop your wiki posts according to the criteria provided and respond to key questions relating to current practices and emerging trends/technologies in contemporary photography.
This research has the objective of strengthening your critical analysis and visual language skills and assisting in identifying your own main creative and/or commercial interest.
Your research will be uploaded as part of the Wiki and presented/discussed in small peer groups.
Assessment 02: Elevator Pitch + SWOT Analysis

Elevator Pitch + SWOT Analysis Due – Week 7
Panel Presentations – Weeks 7 & 8
Following on from the research you completed for Assignment 01, develop TWO potential commercial/creative briefs. Complete a SWOT Analysis for each idea. Further develop these two ideas according to the criteria provided and refine each idea until it can be succinctly described as an Elevator Pitch.
These brief ideas will be presented as an elevator pitch to a panel of professional creatives + ONE of your briefs will be selected (approved) for you to continue testing/execute.
