Overview of Assessment
Assessment Tasks
1. Online Quizzes
2. Clinic Skills Checklist. This is to be completed during student clinic shifts.
The tasks to be assessed within this unit replicate the necessary skills and knowledge required to confirm physical health status within the industry.
Assessment Tasks
All class learning materials, notes and other key learning resources can be accessed via myRMIT at www.rmit.edu.au/learninghub. |
Formative Assessments:
Each topic on the learning hub (Blackboard) has a quiz related to it. It is strongly recommended that you attempt these and attend the tutorial classes. You will have unlimited attempt at these formative (practice) assessments.
Summative Assessments:
You will be required to complete 12 Online Tests on the following topics:
1. Cells, tissues and organs
2. Integumentary System
3. Musculo-Skeletal System
4. Nervous System
5. Special Senses
6. Endocrine system
7. Cardiovascular System
8. Respiratory System
9. Lymphatic & Immune Systems
10.Digestive System
11.Urinary System
12.Reproductive System
You are required to obtain a 100% mark for each of the online test topics.
You will be allowed three attempts for each online test.
Each attempt will contain different questions due to a random selection pool.
You will have a maximum of 60 minutes per attempt. |
Clinic observation skills checklist
You must be able to demonstrate that you are able to:
· obtain
· correctly interpret and
· use anatomical and physiological client information to check the physical health status of at least 3 different people presenting with different conditions.
