Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to do high resolution conform and colour grading of moving images. It involves interpreting briefs and preparing assets for colour grading, before completing primary and secondary colour grading.

The unit applies to those who work in television and digital cinema, and use and manipulate colour to create the overall look and colour of the final product. Colourists work with directors, producers, post-production supervisors, editors, audio post-production and technical staff.
