Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to implement and monitor a gender equity strategy designed to contribute to sustainable gender equity in a work context.

This unit supports the attainment of skills and knowledge required to implement and monitor the progress of a gender equity strategy which is aimed at challenging or addressing identified gender unequal norms, practices and structures within a work context.

It includes preparing for implementation, engaging stakeholders for planning and implementation, and undertaking monitoring activities to track the progress and sustainability of the gender equity strategy.

This unit applies to practitioners and professionals with varying degrees of responsibility working in roles that have a responsibility for contributing to gender equity. This unit enhances the ability to implement and monitor a gender equity strategy designed to contribute to sustainable gender equity within known work environments and work practices
