Arts Management

The studies in Arts Management are designed to provide pathways to suit each student’s professional and academic needs. They are geared to meet the needs of practitioners who are working or wish to work and/or broaden their career opportunities as artists or managers. Through close collaboration with industry professionals, these studies have been designed to reflect the needs of the contemporary arts worker with the aim of fostering leadership in the arts industry.

The program aim to provide students with the opportunity to recognise, develop and extend their professional knowledge, skills, attitudes and values within a flexible framework. The program equips students for positions of responsibility in a variety of arts, educational, and community contexts.

Courses of study include Arts Management, Community Arts Management, Cultural policy and Practice, Curating contemporary art, Gallery and Museum Management, Law and Arts Management.
