28 Masters students from Ecole de Management in Grenoble, France recently completed a 6 week culture and business program at the Graduate School of Business. During their stay they completed 3 courses in Contemporary International Management (Doing Business In Asia), Supply Chain Principles and International Marketing & Distribution.

Pondering Plato
The GSB’s special series of seminars celebrating 30 years of MBA education at RMIT got off to a lively start when Professor Peter Sheldrake explored the teachings of Plato and their relevance to modern business practice. A keen discussion developed as alumni and students debated whether it is indeed human nature to be guided by self interest and how this might determine the way we use power and manage others.

Brian Lehaney is Professor of Systems Management in the Department of Knowledge and Information Management, which is within Coventry University’s Faculty of Engineering and Computing. His research includes decision support for organisations, especially the theories and application of knowledge management, simulation modelling, and intervention methodologies.
