He has had considerable experience in industrial consultancy, major research projects which have involved ARC funding and research management. Miles researches in 'real world' modelling of all aspects of business using both hard and soft modelling techniques. A major part of his research involves the use of mixed-mode modelling. Miles also has considerable experience in supervision of Master, PhD and other theses.

His research interests are in the application of statistical analysis and modelling techniques to business problems, including forecasting, surveys, tourism demand modelling and the impact of airlines' alliances. He teaches in Business and Economic Analysis and various Strategy courses.

Gina is the Operations Manager of the Graduate School of Business and manages the day to day smooth running of the School. She oversees the functions of the Client Services team and works on achieving best practice in all facets of her role. Gina’s career includes management consulting, CEO and Executive roles in local government, senior roles in marketing communications, attendant care and her own recruitment and marketing consultancy.
