Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to identify and work within the legal and ethical frameworks that apply to an individual job role.

This unit applies to community services and health workers who play a proactive role in identifying and meeting their legal and ethical responsibilities.

This unit is delivered and assessed in a cluster with CHCADV001: Facilitate the interests and rights of clients.

There are three individual assessment tasks consisting of short answer questions, role plays and a portfolio of work. 

In order to achieve competency in this unit, you must be marked as satisfactory for each assessment task. Students are allowed two submissions per assessment.  Any further resubmissions is at the discretion of the teacher and coordinator.

Assessment tasks include:
