Login to the RMIT website
Why do I need to login?
RMIT students and staff can login to the website to access additional information not visible to the public, for example:
- library resources
- software downloads
- staff intranets
How do I login?
Use the ‘Login’ link located at the top of every page in the RMIT website.
This will take you to the login page.
Login with your RMIT ID and password.
Result: You will be returned to the page you were at prior to login. Your student number or staff name will be displayed at the top of the page.

The letter ‘s’ followed by your student number (e.g. s3001234). If you have a letter at the end of your student number, leave it out. |

If you cannot login, contact IT Helpdesk.
Logging out
To log out, close all web browser windows, or select the link ‘Logout’ located in place of the ‘Login’ button.
