Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to determine textile testing requirements, conduct routine tests and analyse results. Tests are conducted to determine a range of outcomes such as fibre mass, shrinkage, length, density, abrasion, strength, colour performance, finish and other quality standards.

This unit applies to individuals working in accordance with predetermined industry or enterprise test practices and procedures.
