VentureHUB is RMIT Activator’s Micro-Accelerator Program for startups ready to go the distance.  

Over the course of four weeks, discover the key insights your startup needs to achieve a scalable business model and expand to global markets.  

With the guidance of our expert facilitator, you’ll assess your startup’s value readiness, its impact alignment and prepare to be a high-growth impact player. You’ll also explore strategies designed to drive sustainable profitability and viability. 

Plus, VentureHUB is a gateway to tap into funding opportunities through the Jacques Nasser Fund for Innovation. Valued at up to $15,000, the philanthropic fund supports talented startups to scale and advance towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for VentureHUB, startups will need to have completed LaunchHUB within the last five years and a minimum of four months since the completion of LaunchHUB. 

Successful applicants will also need: 

  • To be able to articulate and provide proof of impact created to date and more
  • Have at least one founding member affiliated with RMIT University (current student, current staff member, alumni or ex-staff member of RMIT University)
  • Have at least one founding member ready to commit to all program sessions in-person.

Program Overview

Weekly workshop structure

Uncover key insights about your startup’s alignment with market demand through a product-market fit assessment, while also establishing the foundational framework for resource allocation, prioritization, and collaboration to support startup growth.

Optimise your startup’s positioning and long-term viability by developing a strategic plan designed to expand your startup globally and in international markets. You’ll learn how future-proof your startup by adapting your strategies in response to changing circumstances, market feedback and evolving business dynamics. 

Amplify your startup’s market desirability and scalability by developing a robust impact strategy. During this stage, you'll identify measures of impact that matters to your startup and be able to connect your ideated action plan within current business operations.

Maximise your startup’s returns by exploring the suitable business model for your startup to grow. In this session, you’ll focus on customer acquisition and retention and lean into operational excellence so you can focus on optimising entry into international markets.
