Course Description
In this Course you will develop the skills required to implement and monitor OHS and environmental policies and procedures within an identified sector of the textiles, clothing and footwear (TCF) industry.
This course consists of 2 Units of Competency that are clustered together for delivery and assessment. The other Unit of Competency in this clustered course is

Assessment Tasks
Assessment 1 -Implement and monitor WHS and environmental systems in the workplace (due wk 7)
There are 4 parts to this task, you will be required to complete:
Part 1: Participate in identifying hazards, and assessing and controlling risks for the work area
Part 2: Support participative arrangements for managing WHS
Part 3: Assist with incorporating WHS policies and procedures into work team processes
Part 4: Support the organisation’s procedures for providing WHS and environmental training
During the completion of each part, you will need to refer to the WHS Manual supplied.
Assessment 2 - Apply workplace policies and procedures (due wk 7)
There are 4 parts to this task, you will be required to complete:
Part 1: Incident reporting
Part 2: WHS Induction procedure
Part 3: Noise monitoring in your workplace
Part 4: Environmental audit
