Course Description
This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and evaluate work health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures for lighting in live productions according to WHS legislative requirements.

On successful completion of this course you will have developed and applied the skills and knowledge required to demonstrate competency in the above elements.
You will:
- have detailed knowledge of all relevant WHS Acts, regulations and codes of practice relating to production lighting
- demonstrate how to establish and maintain arrangements for managing WHS within lighting companies business systems and practices
- identify requirements for expert WHS advice.

To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.
