  • Head to Health – A website by the Australian Department of Health that aims to help people find good mental health and wellbeing information, resources, and links to online and phone mental health services
  • Centre for Clinical Interventions – Offers a range of modules that provide information on common mental health issues and practical strategies to manage these
  • Mindspot – A free, government-funded program that provides online assessment and treatment courses and can also help you find local services
  • Reach out – Australia’s leading online mental health and wellbeing organisation for young people and their parents. The website offers practical support, tools and tips to help young people get through anything from everyday issues, tough times, mental health issues, relationships, identity, wellbeing or helping others
  • Headspace – National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year-olds
  • Anxiety Disorder Association of Victoria – Find an anxiety support group in your area
  • Mental Health Online – Provides free comprehensive services and programs to support your mental health. It can help you understand and address your mental health needs through self-assessment, self-help and online professional support
  • Medical Hub @ RMIT – General Practitioners at RMIT City campus who can administer a holistic assessment of the mental and physical sides of your mental health condition. GPs can also provide you with a referral to see a psychiatrist, generalist and clinical psychologist, counsellor, or mental health clinician
  • Suicide Call Back Service  – Provides free nationwide professional telephone and online counselling for anyone affected by suicide
  • Lifeline – Provides support for those experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services
  • Beyond Blue – Provides information and support for depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. The website contains information, resources, and services for depression

  • Smiling Mind Meditation – Can help those experiencing stress or anxiety with meditations to help you slow down your thoughts and relax
  • Mood Kit – Can improve your mood and manage negative feelings. Allows users to rate and chart your mood, keep a journal and provides mental health tips
  • ACT Companion – Helps you to let go of depressive thoughts with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • MoodGYM – Online cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) program designed to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety
  • MindSpot –  Free government-funded program that provides online assessment and treatment courses and can also help you to find local services
