Represent RMIT nationally in your favourite sport

It’s time to represent RMIT on the national scale in your favourite sport at the UniSport Nationals!

The UniSport Nationals is a multisport event that gives students the opportunity to represent RMIT against other University students from across the country.

The main Nationals event will be held in Perth from 24 September – 1 October, with Other Nationals Championship events held throughout the year.

There are over 20 sport teams that you can apply for, and with RMIT Sport organising all logistics for teams throuigh player packages, it is a stress-free event to be involved in.

The RMIT player package includes group flights, accommodation, uniforms and team merch, as well as team dinners.

Such a special experience, the accommodation we had was so nice and trip was so much fun. Getting to race for RMIT was awesome and I’m definitely looking forward eagerly to the next UniGames.

Ruth Borrows participated in the 3x3 Basketball Nationals in Tasmania during April, saying it was a memorable experience.

"The 3x3 Nationals was an amazing experience," she said.

"The atmosphere and whole event were really well put together and competing students from all over Australia in the Redback uniform was great fun."

"To walk away with bronze was the cherry on top."

The Redbacks have a fantastic inclusive culture, winning the John White Spirit Trophy at Division 1 Nationals back-to-back in 2018 and 2019.

The award is given to the university whose team has displayed exemplary behaviour, excellent team spirit and fair competition.
