This 4 year CSIRO Industry PhD (iPhD) project aims to develop an AI-powered cybersecurity system using large language models to predict and mitigate organisational cyber threats.

The CSIRO Industry PhD Program (iPhD) is a four-year research training program, focusing on applied research that benefits industry by solving real-world challenges. It aims to produce the next generation of innovation leaders with the skills to work at the interface of research and industry in Australia.

To create a better world for future generations, CSIRO’s Data61 impart a calibre and depth of research that impacts a wide range of industries.

To undertake this research, it is proposed that a full-time Ph.D. postgraduate student with RMIT supervision would be granted a stipend scholarship for a duration of 3.5 years.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and research potential to local and international candidates undertaking a research doctoral degree.

The scholarship covers the full duration of the PhD program (up to 3.5 years full-time), including a full tuition fee offset and tax-free stipend of AUD $35,886 per annum. The stipend is indexed annually. This particular scholarship is for domestic students only.
