RMIT is grateful for the support of alumni, friends and partners around the world.

Our University was founded on philanthropy. A £5,000 pledge from Melbourne philanthropist Francis Ormond, backed by gifts from many working Melburnians, lit the spark in 1887 for what would become RMIT.

Today, generous donors continue to create opportunities for our students, our researchers, and initiatives that make a lasting impact across the RMIT community and beyond.
