If you plan to study an English language pathway to either an RMIT Foundation Studies or Fast Track program in 2027, you may qualify for our English to Foundation Studies/Fast Track Pathway Bursary.

Eligibility for the scholarship

Eligibility

In order to qualify for this scholarship you must:

  • be studying Academic English and plan to progress to an RMIT Foundation Studies or Fast Track program in 2027
  • be an offshore offshore students from one of the following regions:  
    • China: Mainland and Hong Kong SAR
    • South-East Asia: Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia

Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to this bursary:

  • The bursary is only available to students who have applied from outside Australia 
  • You must have an Academic English + RMIT Foundation Studies or Fast Track + RMIT award course package offer.
  • The 10% English bursary will be applied to your Academic English tuition fees for a study period in January 2027 – December 2027.
  • The bursary is available to citizens of Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, China and Hong Kong SAR.

How to apply

Step 1: Choose an eligible course

Choose an eligible course to study at RMIT which you can package with Academic English and Foundation Studies or Fast Track.

Step 2: Complete your application

Submit an application to study at RMIT and indicate on the application form that you would like to package Academic English with either Foundation Studies or Fast Track

Step 3: After your application

If you are successful, you will receive an offer letter with the bursary details outlined.

If you have already accepted an offer

If you have already accepted an offer, the Bursary will be applied to your Academic English/Foundation Studies and/or Fast Track programs when you accept the offer. Any excess prepaid tuition fees will be transferred to your formal RMIT University course.
