If you are a citizen of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan or Thailand this bursary provides a tuition fee discount on your General English language course.
Value and benefits
For 2026 commencement:
- 20% of the total fee in 2026 study period for the General English course.
- You pay $436 per week after the discount.
Eligibility for the scholarship
Eligibility
In order to qualify for this scholarship you must:
- be citizen of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan or Thailand
- be applying from Australia or overseas
- enrol in a General English course at RMIT University Pathways (RMIT UP) commencing in 2026 for 10 weeks or more
- not be the recipient of any other English Language scholarship (including external scholarships)
- be a commencing RMIT UP student (including extending your course in Australia).
Terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to this bursary:
- The bursary will be paid towards the tuition fees of the ELICOS course.
- Students may apply and be awarded the bursary for more than 10 weeks.
- This bursary cannot be deferred to another year and must be taken up in 2026.
- RMIT has the authority to cease offering this discount at any time.
- RMIT International may profile scholarship recipients.
- Successful applicants will be notified; unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
