Our Speed Friending event offers conversation prompts and timers to help break the ice and keep the conversation flowing.

Looking to meet new friends and build connections within the RMIT University community?

Our drop in Speed Friending event at HE Orientation is the perfect opportunity. Not only will you have the chance to engage in stimulating conversations, HE Orientation is also providing food to keep you energised throughout the day.

With conversation prompts and timers to eliminate awkward silences, our Speed Friending event creates a fun and relaxed environment where you can make genuine connections with fellow students.

This is a popular event with limited spaces – register today to secure your spot at the event.

To give all students the opportunity to join our events, each person can only sign up for a maximum of 2 events each month. If you have signed up for more than 2 events in a given month, we’ll contact you via email to arrange transferring your spot to another student.

Location: RMIT City campus, Building 10 (Garden Building), Level 5. Enter from Bowen Street via the stairs or elevator next to STREAT cafe.
