2025 key academic dates and deadlines for Foundation Studies students at RMIT

28 January Semester 2 classes begin
28 January – 6 June Teaching period
3 February  Last day to enrol or vary courses
21 February  Semester 1 census date - this is the deadline for key actions such as dropping a course or cancelling your enrolment without financial penalty. Courses discontinued on or before the census date will not appear on your academic transcript.
10 March  Labour Day public holiday (Monday)
18 April  Good Friday public holiday
18 April - 25 April Mid-semester break (Friday to Friday, includes Easter) 
21 April  Easter Monday public holiday 
22 April  Easter Tuesday RMIT holiday 
25 April  Anzac Day public holiday (Friday)
28 April  Classes resume (Monday) 
2-6 June Assessment period
6 June  Semester 1 classes end
9 June King’s Birthday public holiday (Monday)
9 June – 11 July Semester break
10-13 June Deferred/supplementary assessment week
