Did you know the RMIT Student Legal Service can give you free legal advice around:

  1. Motor Vehicle Accident Debt;
  2. Consumer Debts – for example telephone/gym contracts;
  3. Fines including speeding, parking and myki fines.

Did you know if you only receive a Centrelink income, you might be considered what’s called ‘judgement proof’ and you cannot be forced to pay a debt from your Centrelink income?*

*A judgement debt can still be ordered by a court but not enforced.

So come and speak to us about your legal options, RMIT Student Legal Service.

RMIT Connect Student Welfare Advisor also can provide some financial planning support, if you earn an income and need some help with budgeting.
