For Semester 1 2018, RMIT is rolling out a new system called myTimetable for vocational education students.

Find out more.

Access your timetable

Most vocational education students are assigned a timetable by their school and they can just view it in myTimetable, about two weeks before the start of semester.

You need to be enrolled in courses before you can view your timetable.

Select classes from available options

Some vocational education students need to select some or all of their classes from the available options in myTimetable. This applies to you if you can see two or more class options per activity in myTimetable, or if you’re in one of these programs:

  • Associate Degree in Business
  • Associate Degree in Legal Practice
  • Diploma of Commerce

Step 1 - Plan your class timetable

24 November 2017 - 21 January 2018

You need to be enrolled in courses before you start Step 1.

  • Go to Access myTimetable
  • Log in to myTimetable 2018
  • View your class options and decide which options you want so you’re ready for Step 2.

Step 2 - Allocate yourself to classes

 22 January 2018 (8am)

  • Go to Access myTimetable
  • Log in to myTimetable 2018
  • Allocate yourself to classes on a ‘first-in, first-served’ basis.

Associate degree students enrolled in higher education courses

Are you an associate degree student who needs to enrol in one or more higher education elective courses? Find out how and when to timetable for higher education courses.

Timetable changes

RMIT starts publishing class timetabling information in myTimetable from 24 November 2017, although this information might be provisional or incomplete until two weeks before the start of semester.

The timetable is subject to change. Although RMIT tries to minimise changes, it can happen. Please check your RMIT student email for news of any updates or changes, and log in to myTimetable regularly for the latest information.
