The Big Industry Challenge

Work in a team of RMIT students to solve a real challenge set by a Melbourne-based organisation.

In the Big Industry Challenge, you with your peers will explore a real-life organisational challenge. You will deep-dive into the issues, work closely with one organisation on their specific challenge and hear from a variety of experts who will help you broaden your understanding of this complex and current topic. Once you’ve completed the program, you’ll have the opportunity to earn the digital badge Innovation for Global Cities, which you can display on your CV and online profiles.

Across the 2-day program, you will:

  • Complete a micro-internship with a local business
  • Team up with RMIT students to create an innovative solution
  • Pitch your big idea directly to the organisation
  • Build new skills and real-world experience
  • Earn a certificate + a Micro Cred to boost your CV and stand out to employers

Don't miss out on this extraordinary opportunity to gain hands-on experience, make new friends, and enhance your skills.
