Cyber safety is the safe and responsible use of information and communication technology (ICT). It is as much about people and their behaviour as it is about technology.
Cyber safety is everyone’s responsibility and will help protect our personal information, university records and our reputation. Taking personal responsibility for online security will help you avoid falling victim to scammers, hackers, malware and viruses. There are many things each of us can do to stay safe online whether it’s on campus, at home, travelling abroad or out and about.
We encourage you to be Cybersmart and remain aware of the dangers you could come across online.
Request a Cyber safety overview session for your team or workgroup.
Sessions run for 30 – 60 mins depending on the time available. Groups ranging from 5-20 people are preferred. The sessions are interactive, informative and guaranteed to give you tips to improve your safety online.
