Semester exchange

With an opportunity to live in a new city and the chance to fully experience another culture, semester exchange gives you the chance to study for one or two semesters at an overseas exchange partner. RMIT’s exchange network provides you with the opportunity to study at one of our partners located in the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa, or Oceania. Each of these partners provide a wide range of disciplines and study experiences.

Participating students will have the opportunity to study overseas courses equivalent to RMIT offerings or to personalise their degree further by completing unique overseas courses as electives.

You will need to apply one year prior to going on exchange and first year students are welcome to apply.

  • Semester 1 exchange: Registration opens early March and closes 15 May
  • Semester 2 exchange: Registration opens late July and closes 30 September

There are three semesters each year at RMIT Vietnam, meaning there are more opportunities to undertake a semester abroad.
