Cross-campus studies – RMIT Vietnam

You can study at an RMIT Vietnam campus for up to a year without increasing your tuition or extending your studies. RMIT Vietnam programs are equivalent to those offered at RMIT Australia and are taught in English.

What is RMIT Vietnam?

RMIT Vietnam is the Asian hub of RMIT University, with two purpose built and well-equipped modern campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Cross-campus exchange involves studying at our Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi campuses for a semester or year. The programs and courses on offer at RMIT Vietnam are identical to those offered at RMIT Melbourne, and are taught in English. You'll remain enrolled as an RMIT student, paying fees and accruing HECS as usual.

Who is eligible?

You are eligible to participate in cross-campus study to RMIT Vietnam if you are an undergraduate, associate degree, postgraduate and Diploma of Languages student who has completed at least one semester (minimum 36 credit points) at the time of registration.

Vocational education students are not eligible for exchange or cross-campus study.

All exchange/cross-campus study students need to meet the following additonal eligibility criteria:

  • Minimum RMIT grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • 18 years of age by the official start date of the cross-campus program at RMIT Vietnam
  • Be currently enrolled in an RMIT program or on a leave of absence not exceeding one year
