Other ways you can support and lead

The Redbacks don't just need players, they need support and leadership off the field too - and your skills could be the key to Redbacks success.

Don't sweat it - you don't have to play a sport to get involved!

Check out some of the other ways you can help your team compete, without kicking, catching, running or jumping.

Redbacks Culture

A record medal-tally at the conclusion of the 2018 Division 1 UniSport Nationals was topped off with another recognition, based on something the Redbacks team have worked extremely hard to cultivate.

Awarded at the end of each competition year, the Spirit Award is voted on by all competing universities and UniSport officials and is awarded to the team who shows the best sportsmanship and culture throughout the event.

RMIT's Senior Coordinator, Sport, Sally Tanner believes this is exactly what the Redbacks are all about.

“Culture is something we pride ourselves on very highly," she said. "This is a big part of what we want the Redbacks to be known for: passion and professionalism, on and off the field.”
