Join the 2-day Global Leader Experience at RMIT City campus, where you'll tackle the pressing issue of improving food security in our local communities.

In a diverse team of fellow RMIT students, you'll develop leadership and inter-cultural skills, engage with industry leaders, and innovate using Common Purpose's Human Centered Design process.

Gain 4 RMIT Micro Creds, showcase your new skills, and contribute to one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).

THE CHALLENGE: How might we improve food security in our local communities? 

This challenge statement has been created in partnership with industry, focusing on one of the most pressing matters facing Melbourne businesses and aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).

Further challenge information including program activities, ways of working, and attending industry representatives will be provided to successful applicants closer to the program. 

 

Across the 2-day program you will: 

  • Engage with leaders from a range of industries, sectors, and organisations to learn more about the challenge, diversity, and sector 
  • Collaborate with RMIT students across disciplines to create a solution to the challenge using Common Purpose's Human Centered Design innovation process 
  • Develop 21st Century career-ready skills, focusing on leadership and inter-cultural competencies 
  • Test your idea by pitching to a panel of experts on the last day 
  • Gain 4 RMIT Creds to boost your CV & showcase your new skills to your employers

Date: Wednesday 3 April 2024 - Thursday 4 April 2024

Time: Day one: 9am-5pm, Day two: 9am-5:15pm 

Location: Storey Hall, Building 16 336/348 Swanston St, RMIT City campus
