PRS Australia

Join HDR candidates and academics from across the College of Design and Social Context for a week of examinations, presentations and workshops.

The Practice Research Symposium (PRS) Australia will feature public examinations and progress review presentations by Higher Degree by Research candidates working across the disciplines of architecture, art, photography, industrial design, interior design, landscape architecture, fashion and textiles, digital design, communication design and spatial information architecture.

The symposium will also include:

  • A keynote lecture
  • Research workshops
  • Presentations from over 100 practice research candidates from across the College of Design and Social Context
  • Book launch and reading from Thinking Space: Readings from a Life in Architecture by Leon van Schaik
  • Opening and closing events with finger food and drinks

This event is part of the College of Design and Social Context Higher Degrees Research Symposia, which celebrates the significant contributions of postgraduate researchers towards the advancement of knowledge and provides a platform for transdisciplinary collaboration and information exchange.
