Tracklist: Mapping the Music Industry - Seminar Series

RMIT's Bachelor of Arts (Music Industry) presents the annual Seminar Series. Each session will explore trending topics shaping today's music industry through open discussions with industry professionals.

This Seminar Series has become a staple of RMIT's music program and a testament to its students' initiative and insight.

The seminars will run over three consecutive Tuesdays, starting May 6th, with two sessions held each day. Each seminar will feature industry expert guests to engage in thought provoking conversations.

Tuesday 6 May

  • 2pm - 2:50pm: "Making Your Own Way: Navigating the Music Industry as a DIY Artist"
  • 3pm - 3:50pm: Conductor of Careers: Exploring Management in the Music Industry

Tuesday 13 May

  • 2pm - 2:50pm: Now Arriving at the Main Stage: Festival and Live Events
  • 3pm - 3:50pm: Next Stop, UNITY Station: Diversity and Equity in the Music Industry

Tuesday 20 May

  • 2pm - 2:50pm: From Trains to Planes: Navigating Turbulence in the International Music Market
  • 3pm - 3:50pm: AI in Music: Off the Rails or Laying New Track

Location

All seminars will be held in the Radio Theatre (Building 9, level 1, room 24, City campus).
